    North Shore Historical Museum's Lunch and Lecture Series Continues

    Glen Cove, NY – The North Shore Historical Museum’s 2011 Lunch and Lecture series continues this fall with lunch and a lecture on the history of Oyster Bay scheduled for Saturday, September 17 at noon.

    Issac Kremer, Executive Director of the Oyster Bay Main Street Association, will deliver the lecture on Oyster Bay’s history along with lunch at Jack Halyards American Bar and Grill. The lecture will be followed by a short walking tour of the Oyster Bay Railroad Museum.

    “This will be a most interesting event”, Linda Darby, organizer of the series and a Museum Board Member, said. “Mr. Kremer is a wonderful speaker and his knowledge of Oyster Bay history is extraordinary.”

    The 2011 series will conclude Saturday, October 1 at noon with a tour of Saint John’s of Lattingtown, conducted by Reverend Simon Foster followed by a buffet lunch, lecture and video of some of the Church’s prominent founding families presented by Museum Board Members, Dr. Richard Harris and Barry Rivadue.

    The cost of each event is $40 for Museum members and $45 for non members. For reservations, call Ms Darby at 516-676-4946.
